- I'm considering buying a SmartLink 28.8 modem from a company called HSB
- in Ohio. I was hoping someone here might have experience, or heard
- something about these modems.
-
- HSB sells them either with an AT&T chipset, or with a Rockwell chipset.
- Both appear to have hardware ECC and compression, although I can't tell
- for sure from the catalog.
-
- Has anyone heard anything, good or bad about SmartLink modems?
-
- Also, are there any significant differences between the AT&T and the
- Rockwell chipsets?
-
- Thanks for any help anyone can give me!
